Our Seafarer Electric Ship's Anchor Light, crafted in Rotterdam by the Netherlands’ finest nautical lighting craftsmen, is a versatile lamp with vintage seafaring style. Used for centuries onboard ships lying at anchor, the white light served as a beacon at night, to warn other transiting ships to steer clear.
Handmade of solid brass to commercial ship standards, the Electric Ship's Anchor Light is a replica of an old ship’s anchor lantern. It features a polished and lacquered finish to ensure a long-lasting shine. The glass is a Fresnel lens, similar to the type used in lighthouses worldwide. This lens amplifies the light from the bulb so that the light appears much brighter than its actual source.
